Charity Shop Windows, 2000

I'm struggling to remember where these were located, except for the one with the roller skates in the window, which seeing as The Hop pub is reflected in the window must mean it was on King Street.

There is always a certain melancholy to charity shops. Undoubtedly a lot of their stock is from the houses of people who have died and the relatives have had their pick before passing the remnants on.

A memento mori, a reminder that whoever we are and whatever we achieve, our lives are ultimately conclude with a few binbags outside the doorway one of these places.
